I, in close collaboration with the Environment sector and the Forestry Division in Tsirang, initiated and planted 60 new saplings in Tsholingkhartoe under Tsholingkhar Gewog w.e.f June 23-24, 2018. On June 23, the holes were dug in strategic locations around the Monastery, and on June 24 we planted the saplings. This initiate was undertaken along side the annual picnic organized by District administration for the relationship building thence. More than 115 civil servants joined during the relationship building picnic. However, only around 30 participated during the plantation program. The venerable Lam Neten (ex-) graced the plantation.
