PLANTATION OF MEDICINAL PLANTS

Many types of Ayurvedic remedies to prevent corona infection are becoming quite popular these days. Due to this, the trend of people towards herbs and plants with medicinal properties is also increasing. Under this program, Bharat Scouts and Guides, District Udhampur, has given special attention to plantation of large-scale medicinal properties in graveyard of Christian Colony under plantation campaign. Under this campaign, mainly Amla, Giloy, Aloe-Vera, Neem etc. medicinal plants were planted.The program was inaugurated by presented the scarf to District Youth Services and Sports Officer Swaran Singh by Guide Captain Divyangna Dubey. Scout Masters Rakesh Sharma and Amar Dev Singh inspired and motivate the people present there to conserve the environment. District Youth Services and Sports Officer Swaran Singh made everyone aware about the Public Welfare programs being run by Bharat Scouts and Guides. He appealed the youth to stay away from drugs and motivated them to participate in public welfare programs and participated in Youth empowerment programs like Khelo India. At the end of the program, Pradhan Rajan expressed appreciation for the plantation program undertaken by Bharat Scouts and Guides and pledged to protect these plants.
