Presently, tree plantation campaign is being carried out all over the country.In Udhampur, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and The Bharat Scouts and Guides launched a joint campaign today of tree plantation at Venus Chowk.They planted saplings in unique ways. Scout master Amar Dev Singh, Ved Kumar and Jagdev Singh all adopted saplings in proportion and took the saplings with a pledge.Scout Master, Rakesh Sharma said that trees and plants are precious ornaments of this earth. Human life progresses only from them. Life is not possible in the absence of them. Everyone must plant trees and protect them as well. Gagan Sharma of BJP Yuva Morcha said that planting trees is very important if the environment is to be prevented from pollution. He said that while trees give us fruits and shade, we get different types of medicines from them. Whether it is a medicine, it is directly or indirectly linked to vegetation. During this time various kinds of fruits and flowers etc. were planted in the campus. Former Divisional Vice President Rahul Gupta, OBC Morcha District Secretary, Raj Kumar, Amit Sharma etc. also played an invaluable contribution in the program.
