Plant Trees, Save Future
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now. The tree planting activity had the goal of doing our respective parts in diminishing the unfavorable effects of climate change and raising awareness of the importance of planting & saving trees.
In preparation for the tree planting activity to be initiated by the Alangalang National High School Senior Scouts, a crew was sent on a hike to survey and plot the area for plantation with the support and guidance of the local barangay officials of Barangay Divisoria, Alangalang, Leyte. The LGU - MENRO, the OMA, the Alangalang PNP, the Alangalang BFP, the MDRRMO, ACCESS 5, the Local Barangay Officials, the Teachers and Students of Alangalang National High School.
It benefits to us and the 100+ families who live their to reduce the land slide and to keep the animals safe. The goal of doing our respective parts in diminishing the unfavorable effects of climate change and raising awareness of the importance of planting & saving trees.
The project succeed but we need to make it better by adding more seedlings and invite more people to plant more trees.
