“Plant Today, Save Tomorrow”
This project was started with the aim of preserving the balance of the environment and increasing greening on the occasion of World Environment Day 2026. Due to climate change, deforestation and environmental pollution, it has become imperative to ensure a safe and habitable world for the present and future generations. It is out of this awareness that the “Green Mission 2026” program was initiated.
Under the “Green Mission 2026” program, we, the members of Joypurhat Mukta Scout Group, collected various forest and fruit trees and planted them on both sides of a road in Bishnupur area on June 5, World Environment Day. Rover and Girl-in-Rover members actively participated in this program. The chairman of the local Union Parishad and group leaders were present. Along with tree planting, we also make the local people aware of environmental conservation.
Through this project, we have gained practical experience about the importance of environmental conservation. Teamwork skills and leadership have been practiced. We have gained knowledge about increasing social awareness and tree planting. The program has increased environmental awareness in the area and created interest in planting trees among people. It is expected to play an important role in building a green world for future generations.
