Plant tasty trees to bring back the birds

Regional outdoor science museum has observed decline in native bird populations on the property and around the county. Overdevelopment of surrounding areas have greatly reduced insect populations birds feed on. Invasive plants have stifled native insect food sources.

Remove invasive youngling trees with low insect feeding diversity and replace with native youngling species with higher insect feeding diversity. The end goal is to repair the dwindling food supply of native bird species harmed by overdevelopment.

Small efforts can create big impacts when done with many hands.
