Peaceful Dialogue for Freshy at PNRU
We believe that when students from different places come together to begin their university journey, they bring along unique stories, cultures, and perspectives. This project was created to provide safe space where everyone can listen with empathy, respect each other, and build real connections through dialogue. Our hope is that they’ll begin this new chapter not just as classmates, but as a supportive community where harmony and understanding can grow.
On 7 July 2025, 564 first-year students at Phranakhon Rajabhat University joined a workshop on empathy, listening, and intercultural understanding. Through games and group activities, they learned to respect diverse identities, challenge misperceptions, and practice dialogue as a tool for building harmony within their new university community.
Students learned to listen with empathy and without judgment, to respect different identities and cultures, and to reflect on how perceptions and misperceptions shape relationships. They discovered that open dialogue is a practical tool to resolve conflicts, build trust, and create stronger connections. Most importantly, they realized that starting university is not only about academics but also about building a happy community together.
