Peace in Tulsa Schools

Time-        Starts at 6:00 PM.  Scouts are encouraged to come any time between 6 and 7, whenever you can get there.  There will be adult supervision there at all times.  Parents are welcome to stay and help with the project.   We will be putting 5 items in 3200 bags for Tulsa Public Schools emergency kits.  This project was developed after the horrible thing that happened at Sandy hook Elementary in Connecticut.  This is a great project.  If there is anything we can do to help prevent a similar experience happening here in Tulsa, we should do it. 2/11 project completed. The five items were a notepad, flashlight, water bottle, small first aid kit, and a whistle.  The local tv crew will be on site. i am told there was some news print coverage, but I have not seen it yet. I hope to post something later. Even though this was a small project, it will be a good introduction for the troop to the Messengers of Peace program.
