A Patrol Leaders Course on a troop level was organised to prepare the new Court of Honour with duties they may receive and with guidance on how to carry them out. The biggest stress point of the talk was self progression, which could lead to respect and eventually strong leadership qualities. They were encouraged to constantly practice teamwork and use each other as a guide to compete with each other to learn more, experience more and lead better. Their teamwork and commitment to the job they volunteered for will be shown as a simple beacon to their juniors to learn to be selfless, be committed and work together to achieve a greater goal which is to educate and create young individuals who are the future of scouting, and the future of humanity.
