Passing passionately LOVE； PEACE, I'm the first.
Because of the Covid-19, the lives of all people in the world had been impacted! In the country, inventory of blood was serious shortage. Therefore, we were enthusiastic to donate blood. We also want to recruit more persons join us. We showed ours scout promise and law by the activity. By being volunteer, scouts also discovered different knowledge with classroom; teenagers would grow up; learned how to solve social needs; got more opportunity of training and valuable experience.
We recruit more people into the blood donation ! Scouts made exclusive right of mask that gave for donators and made MOP badges and filled with alcohol to offer. In troop meeting, the topic is “PEACE, I'm the first.”. We also promoted the idea ! We respond activity the drawing by Scouts of China. The project held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m. The total time of the activity is seven hours. The total number of blood donators reached 187 people. People gave 46750 c.c. of blood. That could be used by more people in need of emergency rescue. At the same time, we achieved three goals: 01. More and more people recognize the scouting. 02. Calling for pay attention to peace and health and promote SDGs goals. 03. We establish partnerships and strengthen interaction and connection with community.
We learned how to improve ability and build relationships with the community by the activity. We simulated situations that could be happened and hoped scouts could solve any problem the same day. By scout promise, scouts could understand the meaning of “for God, for others and for self”. All scouts would understand they were great, although they just did an inconspicuous thing. We will still promote issues and activities. We hope to exert an influence on scouting in Kaohsiung or Taiwan.
