Pachmarhi Day - Tree Planting
We members of District Youth Committee, Rovers, Rangers and Scout masters and Guide captains were planted about 50 tree saplings on Pachmari day at District Training Center, Shankar park, salem district. We were taking care of that saplings.
On September 10 (Pachmarhi Day),we members of District Youth Committee, Rovers, Rangers and Scout masters and Guide captains were gathered in District Training Center, Shankar park ,Salem district. We planted about 50 plant saplings and marked that area as pachmarhi corner. And we were maintaining the plants.
Some rovers and rangers were inspired and started planting tree saplings in their Schools and near their house.
We learned how important is to plant trees and the need of trees in our environment. Learned how to maintain the trees.
