Our Waste, Our Responsibility

As His Majesty the Fifth Druk Gyalpo reminds us, keeping our surroundings clean is part of nation-building. Our Kings have shown us the vision; now it is our turn to take action. Let us protect Bhutan's natural beauty for future generations. “Our waste, our responsibility."

We collected waste four times a day to keep the surroundings clean and hygienic. We also assisted the Desuung volunteers and police in managing the crowd, ensuring public safety and the smooth conduct of the event.

Our efforts helped keep the surroundings clean, reduce waste, and maintain better hygiene. We supported public safety by assisting Desuung volunteers and police in managing the crowd. This service promoted teamwork, community responsibility, and a cleaner, safer, greener Bhutan.

These experiences taught us that serving our community requires responsibility, teamwork, patience, and dedication. We learned the importance of working together, helping others, keeping our surroundings clean, and ensuring the safety of the public. Through these small but meaningful efforts, we realised that every individual has a role to play in protecting our environment and supporting our community. As Scouts, we will continue to serve with honesty and commitment to build a cleaner, safer, greener, and more beautiful Bhutan for present and future generations.
