Orientation Program on Waste Management

Global warming is becoming one of the big issue in the world at present. One reason is the way we manage our waste. So, to make youth aware of the importance of waste management, the orientation program on negative impact of waste, importance of waste management and ways to reduce waste was conducted.

The program was held in my school (Khoyar Primary school). The students and all the teachers attended the orientation program. The 2 days program was planned and executed. The power point presentation was prepared and oriented all the students and teachers for 2 days.

Around 2000 to 3000 people benefits from this project. The students and teachers will share this important issue with their parents and other people in the village. This way people pf the village will be aware of waste management and accordingly take action.

I knew that waste management is one of the big issues we face right now. As there is saying, 'learning never ends'. At the end of this project I came across many different ideas to reuse the waste in meaningful way. Here after, my next plan is to collect all the useable waste and turn it into beautiful and usable things.
