Opening Sports Hub at Northeast India

Sports Authority of India Union Minister and three other Olympic medallists are coming to Coochbeher on May 21. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was also be present. In their presence, the Sports Authority of India will sign the MoU agreement with Indian Railways to create a Sports Hub at Coochbeher for the betterment of northeast players. In this regards the Bhagat Singh Rover Crew of N.F.Railway, Alipurduar District Association went there and gave render service.

On that day a service team of 6 members went to new Coochbeher station for the opening of Northeast's first Sports Hub. We gave their render service like receiving guests with flower, Control the crowd, maintain the discipline of the place, Saw that the peoples do not throw waste materials(Chips Packets, Ribbons, Flowers etc,) in that place.

with our activity the peoples present there known about our scouting's skills to maintain crowds gathering with Smile and peace. The DRM of Alipurduar Division specially appreciate our work in the end of our service
The sports hub will be used to train athletes from North Bengal and Northeast India to participate in the Olympics. There will be football ground, hockey astro turf, synthetic athletic turf, badminton, basketball, volleyball, boxing, table tennis, swimming and many more. By going there and gave service as Scouts member, it shows that Scouting also support sports and its infrastructure happens in the Northeast India.
