One Sapling, One Step for Earth

One day, I saw a small bird sitting on a hot electric wire, opening its beak again and again because of the heat. There were no trees nearby for it to rest or find shade. That moment made me feel that we are slowly taking away their homes. I realized that if each of us plants even one sapling every day, it can bring back greenery and life. From that day, I decided to plant saplings regularly and take care of them.
I visited a nearby nursery and selected a healthy sapling suitable for the local climate. I chose a place with good sunlight and cleaned the area. Then, I dug a pit, placed the sapling carefully, and filled it with soil mixed with organic fertilizer like vermicompost. After planting, I watered it properly and ensured protection from damage. I decided to plant one sapling every week and take responsibility for regular watering and care.
