One with Nature: A Tree Planting Activity
June 12, 2025, was not just a regular day, it was National Independence Day, a time to remember the bravery of our heroes and the sacrifices they made for our country. On this special day, the NEC Outfit 2090, together with other youth groups, took part in an inspiring activity called Bayanihan para sa Kalikasan (One with Nature) at Mount Siete, located in Sitio Pore, Barangay Minuli, Carranglan, Nueva Ecija.
It was an event filled with purpose and love for nature. It combined tree planting and hiking, allowing participants to reflect on the meaning of freedom while giving back to the environment. The activity was shared with the Vice Mayor of Carranglan, Hon. Ricardo Eric Manucdoc and various groups, NEC Outfit 2090, Outfit 2164, CAT Cadets and Cadettes, SK members, barangay officials from different areas, and local residents of Carranglan.
It was indeed a showcase of unity and teamwork. Everyone shared the same goal- to protect and care for the environment while honoring the spirit on a memorable Independence Day.
