“One Locality, One Mission: No Plastic”
My motivation for organizing this campaign comes from the growing concern of plastic waste in our surroundings. I noticed that single-use plastics are harming our streets, drains, and environment, affecting both humans and animals. By creating awareness in our locality, I wanted to inspire people to adopt eco-friendly alternatives, reduce dependence on plastic, and take collective responsibility for a cleaner and healthier neighborhood.

Through this campaign, I learned that people are often aware of the harmful effects of plastic but lack guidance on practical alternatives. It showed me the importance of community participation and how small changes, like using cloth bags or reusable bottles, can make a big difference. I also realized that consistent awareness drives can inspire long-term behavioral change and strengthen our locality’s collective responsibility towards a plastic-free and sustainable future.
