OHS and First Aid training for Teachers

Teachers from the Nadi schools, took part in the Occupational Health Safety and First Aid starting in 2015. They had gone through an intensive one- week training by the Ministry of Education and as a result will be official OHS representatives in their various schools. The than Minister for Education Mahendra Reddy presented the certificates to the 256 teachers. OHS national trainer Veer Chand said the exercise was the first of its kind in the country. It covered the basics of OHS a s First Aid. OHS is all about the safety of children in the school environment and vital tool for all teachers. it was an important week for all the chosen teachers in Nadi as this was the first cluster and their were the first lotto obtain the training.
