OGUN STATE YOUTH JOIN THE WORLD IN JOTA/JOTI CELEBRATION

The 2016 JOTA/JOTI is currently underway globally. The Annual event coordinated by WOSM remains the largest diversity program that afforded interaction by scouts with their peers across the world. The Scout Association of Nigeria is not left out in this unique event. From IMO to OGUN to Lagos to FCT and up North reports speaks of a good outing by the state councils. However, the Ogun State Scout (Youth) participated in the 2016 JOTA/JOTI with a 3 days camp which began on 14th Oct to 16th Oct with Seventy Five (75) participants including Cubs, Scouts, Venture Scout, Explorer and Youth leaders from Awori Province, Egba Province, and Ijebu Province. The participant really enjoyed themselves and chatted with fellow scout from over twenty (20) countries among other are Mexico, UK, USA, Ghana, Kenya, Sri-Lanka, Finland, Serbia, Germany, South Africa, Holland e.t.c. We also have the following dignitaries as Visitor Pastor R.B. Babatunde (Ogun State Scout Commissioner), Apostle Tola Adenekan (Assistant Chief Commissioner/ H.O.D. Diversity, inclusion and social impact), High Chief S. A Kusimo (Assistant Chief Commissioner for South West Region), Pastor O.B. Akinsanya (Assistant State Scout Commissioner- Travel and Tours) and Mr Adejimi (Ogun State Scout Education/Training Commissioner ). The JOTA/JOTI Team was led by Ashimolowo Oluwaseun assisted by Erinfolami Johnson, Olayemi Oluwafemi, David Tunde, Yusuf Anuoluwapo ,Kareem Olalekan, and Adigun Aduragbemi.
