Official launching of Messenger of Peace (MoP) activities by Ismaili District Boy Scouts Association, Karachi in Scout Groups

Ismaili District Boy Scouts Association has organized first Messenger of Peace (MoP) activities based on global initiative designed to inspire millions of young people to work toward peace on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Aminabad, Hyderabad. This was official launching of Messenger of Peace (MoP) activities by Ismaili District in Scout Groups. Total 38 Shaheen, 49 Scouts and 16 Rovers participated in activity. The Messenger of Peace (MoP) activities were facilitated by District Scout Commissioner Wahab Jockey, District Secretary Dr. Shahab Ali Patel, Members of the Executive Committee and Messenger of Peace (MoP) Coordinators District Scout Leaders Hussain Sheikh and Ali Tharwani. Scouts from around the Hyderabad, Sindh share what they’ve done and inspire fellow Scouts to undertake similar efforts in their own localities. Initially activities conducted includes Introduction to Messenger of Peace (MoP), How to register Service Hours, Singing Messenger of Peace (MoP) Songs &Poems and Tree Plantation Campaign. Messenger of Peace (MoP) Certificates were awarded by IDBSA to all participants as well as to encourage & motivate Scouts.
