Due to the ongoing pandemic and with the rise of COVID19 cases in Kohima, Nagaland the City has been under complete lockdown so, I planned to observe Scout Scarf Day virtually using Zoom Cloud meeting app to connect with my Rover Scouts, Scouts, Guides and Rangers of my Unit. At first I gave them a phone call and asked them to click a photo with their Scarfs and upload them on social media and nominate their friends to do the same so that people are aware about the Scouting movement and the significance of Scout Scarf Day..

I called for a zoom meeting later in the afternoon, and I shared about the Significance of the Day and I asked them to rededicate themselves for the good cause and encouraged them to try to live to the Scouting Principles..  All of us renewed our Scout/Guide Promise and pledged to fight Covid19 by wearing mask, maintaining social distancing, try to stay at home as much as possible and follow the guidelines of the health department. The meeting though short, was a fruitful one. After the meeting we created a short video on the importance of the Scout Scarf Day and posted them on Facebook, instagram to create and promote awareness about Scouting.
