All information distribeted as a draft booklet worldwide.
This challenge booklet includes basic background information on nutrition and why it is vital for our health. It explains exactly what food can give to us, as well as explaining what healthful diets and good eating habits consist of. The background information also explains how to make the most of nutritious and safe food. Participants will also learn about the impacts their food choices have on the wider world, and how to practice sustainable diets and cooking. Finally, the badge addresses and gives ideas as to how participants can take action to ensure that they and those around them are able to lead healthy, nutritious, environmentally-responsible lives.
Take this booklet and EXPLORE, LEARN and DISCOVER – and while you’re having fun, maybe you can even come up with some clever ways to help end hunger or food waste in the world. We hope you will feel inspired to take action and do what you can to have a healthful and nutritious diet.”
