A Saturday with great weather, I helped to co-train a batchbof sea scouts plus outdoor practitioners on the basics of applied sea navigation. We covered topics that cover chart reading, passage planning, chart interpretation, as well as observational markers for bouys, beacons, lighthouse and more. It was a great exercise and experience to many of the sea scouts that rarely get on a boat or have never been out to sea yet.
