National Vitamin A Capsule Campaign
The main objective of this campaign was to fulfill the good health and vitamin needs of children.
We worked under a clinic called "Sunshine Smile Clinic" around Basabo area. Children aged 6 months to 4 years were fed either a blue or a red capsule depending on their age. People are also informed about what should be in a child's diet so that children can grow up healthy.
Through this scheme children from 6 months to 4 years of age get vitamin A Vitamin requirements can be met by consuming capsules. Parents know what to feed their children to ensure their healthy growth and how to care for them to keep them healthy and happy.
From this project, we learned about the necessity of Vitamin A and the ideal diet for a child for healthy growth.
