National Training Handbook Review Workshop
We were inspired by the need to revise and modernize the Training Handbook, which was created in the 1990s. Though it was once considered one of the best globally, it needed updates to suit today’s environment and international standards. The 75 years celebration of BSG further motivated us to take this important step for strengthening our training system.
The project was executed through a week-long workshop at the National Headquarters, New Delhi, with selected trainers from all sections. Together, we carefully reviewed the old handbook, held discussions, and updated the content with support from NHQ professionals and visiting dignitaries. Senior leaders guided the process throughout, ensuring quality and uniformity in the revised training materials.
We learned that teamwork and collaboration are essential in achieving meaningful results. The project showed us the importance of regularly updating our resources to stay relevant with changing times. We also realized the value of leadership support, expert guidance, and knowledge-sharing across sections, which made the outcome stronger and more useful for the entire movement.
