
National Rover Ranger Mini Jamboree at Odisha attended by BSG UDUPI.
The National Rover/Ranger Mini Jamboree, which is organised by the Odisha State Bhatrat Scouts and Guides at the State Training Centre, Barunei here entered fourth day on Thursday.
Rovers and Rangers participated in the yoga and pranayam programmes. After flag hoisting ceremony, they got engaged in Sustainable Development Goal activities.
Participants started preparations for the pageant show, the most colourful and interesting activities in the jamboree to highlight the culture and historical aspects of each State.
Orissa High Court Chief Justice KS Jhaveri graced as chief guest of the evening. District Collector Sitanshu Kumar Rout, retired IAS and International Commissioner Scout JC Mohanty, International Commissioner Guide Amelia Swer, MA and State president Bishnu Charan Das were present.
State Chief Commissioner Dr Kail Prasad Mishra explained about the objective of the jamboree and different activities planned for the celebration of 150th year birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
On this occassion the Bharat Scouts and Guides of Udupi district represented Karnataka State at the Jamboree. Nearly 1540 Rovers and Rangers Participated out of which 50 were from karnataka and 15 from Udupi. We participated in all the activities such pageant show, state exhibition, adventure programme, better world village, etc . We had lots of fun here . We also received many Prizes. We encountered many new experinces here. I am thankful to The Bharat Scouts and Guides , for hosting this event and making it a success and also for providingus this opportunity to participate in this Mini Jamboree.
