The literary committee observed the International Literacy Day and following that marked National Reading Week in the school. The event was marked from 8th to 14th September. The beginning of the reading week was marked in coinciding International Literacy Day. The first day was kicked off by displaying big banners of National Reading Week, theme and various quotations on reading. One member from the literary comiittee emphasized on the importance of reading and the theme of International Literacy Day, 2019. The literary club members too staged a drama on the importance of literacy. Throughout the week after 3 pm, there were variuos literary activities for the students according to there levels. About 90% of the students were engaged in literary activities. The various literary activities are story telling, declamation, talking show, poem recitation, pronounciation competition, super speller, quiz and trivia contest.
