The National Level Youth Week Celebration Camp was held at NYC, Gadpuri, Haryana from 9 to 13 January 2015 with a theme “SOCH BADLO DESH BADLEGA”. 182 Rovers Rangers and their Unit leaders were participated from 21 states. The programme like Debate, Extempore lecture, Youth Parliament, Treasure Hunt, Fancy dress competition, Exhibition, Folk Dance competition, skit on the theme ‘Soch Badlo Desh Badlega’, Messenger of Peace, Free Being Me etc. was organized during the celebration. The Rovers and Rangers are enjoyed each and every programme. To increase the leadership quality, during camp a five men committee was formed among rovers and rangers and the camp was run by them under the guidance of Leader of the camp Shri Arup Sarkar – Asstt. Director, Northern Region. On 12 January morning participants were celebrated youth day and 151st birth day of Swami Vivekananda. The rovers rangers were collected around 100 quotations of Swami Ji and displayed it all over the campsite. Shri Madhusadan – ALT(S), Rajasthan and staff of the camp and Ms. Suchitra – Ranger, Uttarakhand spoke on Swamy Vivekananda Ji and his contribution to our country. Leader of the camp also delivered one lecture on him. Evening on 12th January Grand Campfire was organized in which Ms. Darshana Pawaskar – Jt. Director (SS) was the Chief Guest and Mrs. Vijaylaxmi – Principal, Dharam Public School, Palwal was graced the occasion as guest of Honour. The participants were presented colourful programme with a celebration mood. All guests and invitees are appreciated the programme. On 13 January ‘Sram Dan’ - Service to campsite, all faith prayer meeting was organized and the memorable camp was came to an end with lowering of BSG flag and National Anthem. Shri Arup Sarkar – Assistant Director, Northern Region was the leader of the camp.
