NATIONAL LEVEL TRIBAL/GRAMEEN ROVER/RANGER CARNIVAL 2019

60 nos. Rovers & Rangers of Bargaon ITI participated in National Level Tribal\Grameen Rover & Ranger Carnival which was held at Bargaon ITI Campus, Sundargarh, which is situated in a tribal village of Sundargarh District. Odisha State Bharat Scouts & Guides was organised the camp and around 13 states were participated in the camp. they share their culture, foods, costumes etc. with each other. The camp was inaugurated by Hon'ble MLA of Talsara Sj. Dr. Prafulla Majhi in presence of Dr. Kali Prasad  Mishra, National Vice President and Odisha State Chief Commissioner. Hon'ble Governor of Jharkhand Smt. Droupadi Murmu had inaugurated the 100 years Rangering plaque during the camp. During the Camp many other dignitaries were came i.e. Sj. Bijay Kumar Patnaik, Retd. IAS, Former Chief Secretary, Govt. of Odisha, Sj. D.V. Swamy, RDC, Sambalpur Disvision, Sj. Prafulla Mallick, Hon'ble Minister of Steel & Mines, Govt. of Odisha, Sj. Jual Oram, Hon'ble Minister of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India and Collector, Sundargarh, Sri. Rama Chandra Nayak, Founder Secretary, Bargaon ITI, Sri Arun Kumar Nayak, Principal, Bargaon ITI and Headquarter Commissioner, Odisha State Bharat Scouts & Guides and blessed the participants.

The Participants of different states participated in different activities i.e. food competition, youth forum, rangoli competitions, state exhibition, MOP, adventure bases, ramp show, Physical Display, Traditional Song Competitin  etc. A National Integration March was also organised by the participants with their traditional costumes around 4 kms. of Bargaon village. A Grand Campfire was organised in the last night of the camp and distributed prizes to the winners of different competitions. The Total camp was conducted and guided by Sri Amar B. Chettri, Dy. Director, Boy Program, Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarter New Delhi.
