India-Pakistani War of 1971, fought between assaulting Pakistani forces and Indian defenders at the Indian border post of Longewala, in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan state in India.
       This is the spot of the battle of Longewala in 1971 between India and Pakistan, on which the movie "Border" is based. It is also the last point up to which civilians are allowed, just 12 km from Pakistan.
