The National Integration Camp was held at Bhatinda, Talwandi Sahab from 02.02.2015 to 08.02.2015 in which 12 States from all over India participated i.e. Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Northern Railway, Punjab, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand & Western Railway. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Sadhu Singh Randhaba, State Chief Commissioner, Punjab State, BS&G by lighting the lamp and flying the Baloon in the sky with the theme of the camp “JOIN SCOUTING CHANGE LIFE”. Sardar Narinder Singh, State Secretary, Ms. Amarjeet Kaur, District Education Officer, Talwandi and local personalities of Talwandi attended the inaugural function. Competitions on Patriotic Song, March Past, Colour Party, Folk Dance, State Marriage, State Festivals. State Exposition, State Exhibition, Campfire, Camp Craft & Food Plaza were held. Every State tried their level best to perform in the competitions and enjoyed the camp. The participants were also briefed about Messenger of Peace (MOP) and how to register for it. The Unit Leaders were asked to attend the workshop for Free Being Me after dinner for three days. All the Unit Leader attended workshop actively and helped the participants during Free Being Me activities on 07.02.2015. Mr. Deepinder Singh, I.A.S., Secretary, Market Board, Punjab and local well wishers of the Talwandi witnessed the Folk Dance competition on 05th February, 2015. Intergration Rally was organized with Slogans on Integration & Swacch Bharat Abhiyan etc. Mr. Virender Kumar Sharma, I.A.S. attended the Grand Campfire and blessed the participants. Dr. Sadhu Singh Randhaba, State Chief Commissioner, Punjab State presented Mementos to all the winners. The Camp was conducted by Mr. Mahinder Sharma, ROC (Scout), Western Region ably assisted by Mr. Bablu Goswami, ROC (Scout), Northern Region and trainers invited from different State Associations.
