National growth strategic planning
The project is part of the organisation's capacity building and came about after the GSAT self-evaluation, the needs of our scouting community and the strategic plan.
In order to ensure successful completion within the set timeline and budget, the project was executed by a young team that carefully defined its goals and the plan. The team learned a lot, and with the help of adults and the support of the Africa Support Center, managed to achieve the results. A lot of challenges during the process that needed to be adreseed. Definately a learn by doing process.
We learned that project, people and environement changes. We need to better calculate and take that into account on our risk assessment. We surpass the initial project schedule, as we could not answer quickly to the changes.
We now need to implement the communication plan, and other documents and results from the project.
Those were well captured and we expect to see a big impact in scouting in our NSO.
