MUTIRÃO PIONEIRO – RESPEITO NÃO É OPÇÃO, É REGRA!
The task force was carried out with the purpose of encouraging important reflections and motivating young people to become agents of change in society, developing empathy, social awareness, and environmental responsibility. The proposal aimed to connect participants to today's global challenges, promoting attitudes based on respect, inclusion, and the building of collective solutions.
The Mutirão Pioneiro was planned and executed as an educational and community engagement event aligned with Scout values and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to quality education, gender equality, reduced inequalities, climate action, and peace.
The Mutirão Pioneiro provided valuable lessons for both the organizing team and participants. One of the main takeaways was the importance of creating safe and inclusive spaces where young people can openly discuss social and environmental issues. The use of participatory and interactive methodologies proved highly effective in promoting engagement, critical thinking, and meaningful learning.
