Moving on
In recent years we have noticed a lack of involvement of young people in decision-making structures, either due to lack of information, learning frameworks or tools to help them if they access such a structure.
Thus, the Romanian Scouts want to create through this project a set of tools and frameworks through which to encourage more young people in active participation in decision-making and executive structures.
We want to inspire and empower young people to have a voice and be leaders.
The project has a national dimension and involves cooperation between national teams to create the necessary framework and tools to implement them in the local structures and to encourage young people to be active in the decision-making process.
We have outlined and developed a series of tools necessary for a sustainable and organic organizational development, in which the roles, structures and attributions of each layer of the organization is well defined and clear for everyone.
The impact that this project has on the community is that it will provide informed young people with a civic sense and motivated to get involved in decision-making structures of the local community, who have a voice in the community and take initiatives in local or global issues that are of interest to the community.
Through this project we learned how to inspire young people and encourage them to be the voices of their communities. We believe that communities need involved and courageous young people to connect people through their ideas.
