The most sincere kiss ever is a mothers kiss

The day being on commemorating our mothers,we decided to hold our activity in Ngong and interact with our mothers and also intendded to educate them on menstrual health as well as creating awareness to the males that were present
The project was held at Ngong catholic church. We were given a chance to have a talk with the congregation, tell them about our project and educate them on menstrual health.
approximately 300 individuals were impacted by the project on this day. Our women learnt more on menstrual health, how to openly have a talk with their daughters without being ashamed and also trying to break the taboo on the topic. Men also learnt on the importance of not discriminating our girls when its time to have their menstruation advocating on it being a healthy and normal occurrence.
We learnt that such conversations are not much heard of in the society. Most people shy away from the topic just because they are afraid to be judged by society when in reality actually most men are very curious on getting to understand menstruation. By having the talks in such places,we actually ease up or rather make a hole on their guard if not breaking it.
