MoP Training Phase II UNIT WORKSHOPS
PRESIDENT KONROTE AT THE FIJI SCOUTS AGM
The purpose the Fiji Scouts Association is to contribute to the development of young people through the Messengers of Peace initiative.
This was according to President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote while opening the Fiji Scouts Association Annual General meeting at Nand's Hall in Nabua.
“This development aims at achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and emotional potentials as individuals, and to be responsible citizens and members of their local, national and international community.”
President Konrote said scouting plays an important role in every civilized community today.
The meeting was attended by scouts from all over Fiji.
In addition, apart from the AGM, as the National MoP Coordinator, I was able to run my MoP Unit Workshop sessions with the 175 participants where I briefed them the objectives of MoP initiatives and the requirements.
