MoP Networking in Paro College of Education for 305 final year students.
300 final year students of a college in Paro, Bhutan and 5 Teachers took part in a five day residential Basic Unit Leaders' Training Course in the premises of the college. 15 Trainers and 10 volunteers trained the participants on basic scouting skills, principles and life skills.
The participants were also oriented on Messenger of Peace Global networking. The participants were briefed on the MoP initiative taken by the scouts all over the globe to spread the message of peace.
A total of 261 new profiles were created for Bhutan. The participants had hands-on-experience on how to create projects. They were also made aware of how a good story can have positive and ripple impact on others in the community, region, country and the world at large. Five days with 8 hours in a day were utilized for the Basic Unit Leaders' Training Course and 2 days for MoP Initiative.
The momentum for MoP Networking in Bhutan is now growing strong with so many young people joining the MoP with the passion to spread the message of peace, love, respect and harmony. Many are inspired by this initiative and are in this to take the initiative forward.
