National Scout Association of Moldova didn’t update its Youth Program over more than 15 years.
Even if developed activities and initiatives are adjusted to society needs, the program itself has lack of description, sustainable objectives and up to date youth age category content.

     In order to promote the Scout Method and Scouting as one of the leading non-formal education methods in the Republic of Moldova it is necessary that National Scout Association of Moldova (NSAM) has a structure able to lead the changes related to the education and value promoting activities  for young people, but also to align to WOSM’s and WSBESC’s requirements to NSO’s. National Scout Association of Moldova needs the current and future leaders having the knowledge and materials for Scout activities they perform.

    Updating and adjusting NSAM’s standards to nowadays scout standards regarding Youth Program, is the priority action that is ongoing, in our organization grace to MoP support.

By that:

• NSAM will have an updated and attractive YP;
• Trained Scouts leaders will implement the new YP in local scout groups;
• NSAM will get prepared with adult leaders to help the growth of the NSO;
• New leaders recruitment process to start, based on the YP content;
