Aim / objective :

To help ease the burden of the community welfare department and evacuate victims affected by the floods. Assist in terms of distributing food, setting up tents, providing temporary shelter and more.

Why was the project / activity chosen
The current situation in Sarawak is experiencing bad weather, in addition to the rising sea level causing water to be released into the river area. This situation has caused some areas in Kuching to be affected by floods. This incident has happend in last 2 weeks until today. With that, we have taken steps to go down the field to help the authorities evacuate flood victims & assist in temporary settlement areas.

Accomplishment of the project / activity
Achievements today, we came on time because locat authorithies lacked the energy to help flood-affected areas and assist in temporary settlements. We have split into designated areas and have recieved instuctions from the authorities. In additions, we are already satisfied with the carrying out the respondsibility of the lightening the

 burden, especially the social welfare department. We will be back again the next day until the situation recovers as usual.
