A Mission in Outer Space!

Our aim as a troop is to provide services for anyone in need. As we were looking for a suitable service to provide, we found a group of underprivileged kids in a village in El Fayoum, who were in need. So we started to come up with the ideas we can offer for them, in the most fun way!

We, A Girl Scouts troop from Cairo, we announced about our service and organized a fundraiser to collect the resources needed for the service. Then we planned a program ( Games, songs and a color fight ) and aim with the theme being " An Outer Space Rescue Mission". We traveled two days earlier to El Fayoum to camp, prepare and execute the day.

Our service targeted 98 kids (from 3 to 15 years old), to help them experience something different in the most creative way possible. Which made them have fun and learn more about teamwork. Also the project made an impact on 20 youths by making them leaders of each team.

We learned a lot about planning, time management and teamwork. Also the challenges we faced made us gain more problem-solving skills.
