Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Metro Manila East Council, Marikina City, conducted a Tree Planting activities backdated June 12, 2015 during the celebration of Philippine independence day at SM Marikina riverside. 151 scouts and scouters gathered for this activity, Headed by our Scout Executive Rodrigo V. Adriano, Field Scout Executive Rommel E Manal, council Vice Chairman for Operation Homero Muriel, Senior Scouting Commissioner, Mark Anthony Lacson, yours truly and the five sections of scouting from KAB, BOY, SENIOR and Rover Scouting work hand and hand to save the mother earth.There are 50 Mahogany and 50 Nara seedlings planted along the riverside of Marikina City to save the environment from extreme flood during rainy days.
