No fewer than Fifty Thousand Scouts (50,000) have been built in Lagos State Nigeria under the Leadership of His Excellency Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola (Senior Advocate of Nigeria). The Governor who is equally a seasoned Scout Leader used this unique Strategy to develop the young Boys and Girls in Primary and Secondary Schools in the act of Good Citizenship, Leadership and Perseverance, which are mainly the ingredients of Nation Building, Leadership for the future. The Scouting polity in Nigeria wishes to use this opportunity to appeal to the other Governors and Philanthropists to invest their time and money towards building Leaders of tomorrow. Doing this, will disallow the development of Social Miscreants within the Society and the future of Nigeria will be guaranteed.
