Messengers of Peace Local Coordinators Gathering
The Messengers of Peace Local Coordinators Gathering was organized to create a national action plan for MoP. The gathering was also a pre-planned event to ensure the smooth execution of the Messengers of Peace Local Coordinators Workshop planned later in the year.
The gathering was held in the Training Room of the Scout Association of Maldives. Participants were given the opportunity to take part physically and virtually. The gathering was facilitated by the Programme Department of the Association.
The gathering successfully led to the creation of a national action plan for MoP Team Maldives. It also ensured that the team members were up to date on what they have learnt in the previous year and were ready to deliver the content in the MoP Local Coordinators Workshop planed later in the year.
The most challenging aspect of the workshop was including both physical and virtual participants. However, by the end of 2 days we have learnt how to integrate both mediums effectively in the workshop to ensure maximum participation.
