" Messengers of Peace Initiative continues in Bhutan"

The Reunion Camp conducted for Leadership Scouts saw 130 Scouts participating in the camp from 8-12 February 2017. 30 Bhutan Scouts Association Officials and Volunteers organised the camp with much pomp and grandeur. Chief Commisisoner and International Commissioner of BSA innaugutated the reunion camp. The Camp conducted a two day dialogue on messengers of peace module and created about 100 new profiles in scout.org. The rest of the days were spent on events & activities on community development and service projects which they could undertake in their respective communities. The camp also had sessions on reflections of the roles and responsibilities as scouts in their commitment to serve their communities and adherence to law and promise. Adventure, fun and challenging activities were also organised to rejuvenate the participants. They engaged in white water rafting, rappelling, air gun firing, face painting, fun water games, swimming, cooking, creative arts and heaps of challenges and wide games. The highlights of the camp was the module on spreading the message of peace and grandma' challenge. We spent about ten hours in a day during the five day camp. The five days were productively spent and all were involved in the dialogue for peace.
