Messenger of Peace Team Jammu and Kashmir organized the introduction of Messenger of Peace initiative at Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Ganderbal on 08-07-2015. In the said training 75 participants of (Govt. Degree College, Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School Ganderbal, Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Ganderbal and Govt. High School Theroo Ganderbal) and the two Ranger Teams of Ganderbal participated and reactive the basic knowledge of the MOP Initiative. The Training Programme was inaugurated by Mr. Mohd Shafi district Secretary of J&K BS&G Ganderbal, In his welcome address he also highlights about what is scouting and Guiding and also gave the presentation of the activity done in the district. The Thraining programme was also attened by Mtr. Firdousa Akther (District Training Commissioner(G)), Dr. Shaheen Guide Captain, Dr. Tanveer Scout Master and Mr. Mohd Maqbool SM of Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Ganderbal. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Haroon Malik MOP State Coordinator J&K. The training Programme was also watched by the teaching staff of the boys Hr. Sec. School and they appreciated the role of BS&G, also requested the district secretary that such type of training should be more organized in the district. The training programme was ended with the vote of thanks presented by the Principal of the Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School Ganderbal. He also appreciated the role of BS&G and also thanks the district association for organizing the MOP Initiative training Programme at the School.
