Messenger of Peace Thailand 2022, Father,s Day
Father's Day is an important day for Thai people. All Thai people intend to do to show their loyalty to King Rama IX to express their remembrance of His Majesty the King who has immeasurably benevolent towards Thai people. Scouts of Wat Sai Ma Community School has consistently shown loyalty to the King. So this project was created for the scouts and scout commanders to show their loyalty on Father's Day this year, and show Thai culture and volunteer spirit to make contributions to society.
My project was operated in our School,Wat Sai Ma Nuea and Wat Sai Ma Tai on December 2, 2022, starting from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m., a total of 2 hours, considered making merit for the King Rama IX. There was a ceremony to honor for the King Rama IX, showed inspiring activity of Messenger of peace to make Scouts and scout commanders aware of the importance of love, peace of the world. After that, from 1.10 p.m – 3.10 p.m, (2 hours) there will be volunteer activities.
Total activity time 4 hours
There are 315 scouts, and 25 scout commanders joined this project. These people have made merit for the King Rama IX, showing the power of inspiration here, Everyone showed the power of volunteering to develop society. They cleaned in Wat Saima Community School, Wat Sai Ma Nuea, and Wat Saima Tai. Everyone was very happy because they made the best activity for school, temple and society.
I have learned from this project that is a great value to myself, my school, my community and my nation because everyone has done good to each other. Doing good for the public without expecting anything in return In addition to offering loyalty to the King Rama IX. have shown good Thai culture, volunteering for public peace. I will share these stories with more people in Thailand. To make people more interested in peace building activities and doing good to others. Peace begins with me.
