SCOUT ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA, NORTH WEST ZONE  TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR MESSENGER OF PEACE. THE AFRICA PILOT TRAINING OF THE MOP WAS CONDUCTED IN ADDISABABA ETHIOPIA 2013 WITH SIX ADUIT VOLUNTEARS IN ATTENDANCE FROM NIGERIA THE REPRESENTATIVE FIND IT VERY NECESSARY TO CASCADE THE MOP TRAINING TO OTHER SCOUTS IN THE ZONE. o   exactly a week after  the emir of kano  Alhaji DR  ado  bayaro  maked  his  50th  year  on  the  throne  and  83rd  birthday. kano  wilhnessed  another  remarkable  landmark  in  the  history  of  service  to  humanity.  the messengers  of  peace  was launched  in  kano  on  22nd june  2013  at  the  prestigious  state  library  with  number  of  memorable  activities  which  made  the  day  a fulfilled   one for  all  the  scout  members  both  young  and old,there  were  no  dull  moment the  whole  of  training  session the  series  of  activities  begain  with  lecture  introducing  the  concept  and meaning  of  the  MOP  to the  participants by  capt  ibrahim musa rtd.  at  end  of he  days  lecture  participants  were  encouraged  to  come  out  on  stage  to  speak  from  threir  opinior  what  they  understood  by  word  MOP it  was  informative  and  educative.
