Meaningful Engagement

First met with the community leaders and farmers to identify needs, coordinated with the scouts and grouped then assigned responsibilities. The scouts assisted in transplanting paddy seedlings. The safety measures were taken into consideration. The scouts interacted with the farmers, and learned. The project concluded with an appreciation for farmers, scouts, and supporters. Certificates were awarded to scouts for their service and commitment.
Importance of Proper Land/Bed Preparation for paddy seedling plantation, proper leveling, and adequate moisture for a healthy growth. Sowing seeds at the right depth and space. Maintaining the right water level and prevent diseases. Applying balanced fertilizers at the correct stages to support healthy development. Transplanting seedlings at the right age and time.
