Mask Bank

Bharat Scouts and Guides Unit Udhampur of UT JAMMU AND KASHMIR are preparing Mask for Mask Bank and Distributed to the needy people. While motivating the Scouts and Guides of his troop, Scout Master Rakesh Sharma addressed Masks should be worn anytime you are in public or people are nearby. Masks act as a physical barrier to protect you and others from viral and bacterial particulates. Many people unknowingly infect others by going out and spreading germs by coughing or touching others. Scout Master Amar Dev Singh told the troop that primary role of masks worn by the general public is to "stop those who are already infected broadcasting the virus into the air around them. This is of particular importance with the COVID-19 epidemic, as silent transmission seems to be a key feature of its rapid spread. So there is need to wear mask in public places and there is need to distribute . District Commissioner, Scout Ashok Kumar appeal all Scout Masters, Guide Captains, Scouts and Guides of Udhampur Unit to contribute maximum number of Sets towards MASK BANK to facilitate the most needy persons.
