MarinduCLEAN: Coastal Clean up
Since it was international coastal cleanup day, our council took part in this event by also proceeding to different locations of bodies of water in our province. We wanted to keep our oceans clean.
An announcement was circulated encouraging scouts of our province to take part in the celebration of International Coastal Cleanup day by going to bodies of water near them and conducting a coastal clean up
almost a hundred scouts of our province joined hands in doing their part of keeping our oceans clean. When it comes to the beneficiaries, I think it's safe to assume that a thousand of people such as residents and our fishermen can benefit from this project.
Scouts deepened their sense of duty for being advocates of the environment in their own way. Every single one of our actions to keep the environment clean is important and still contributes to the great cause of keeping our planet healthy.
